These are the core values that hold us up, give us our shape, and make us… us.
We make space to play and think a daily dose of “I don’t know” is healthy, wealthy, and wise. We like to take time to problem solve, to ask “why”, and question what’s come before. (After all, do what you’ve always done and get what you’ve always gotten.) We think being progressive means you believe in progress and will always prioritize growth and evolution over stagnancy and what’s known. Now, we sure don’t call it naïve, but we have fun and look at the world from a place of possibility, with plenty of wonder, and on-purpose rose-colored glasses. Practically speaking, we use time-tested techniques, think differently about execution, and try our best to always shake the dust. We want you to take time to recover, to fill up, and to make sure you show up feeling F R E S H.
Work hard, play hard, and rest hard to stay fresh and fully imaginative.
Abundance v. scarcity. We work from the place of knowing we’re all better together and that collaboration is much stronger than competition. Let us tell you our secrets! Sign up for class, learn how we do it and challenge us to keep moving forward. We believe in treating all humans with respect, equality, and inclusivity; we work as a team, show up on purpose, and engage with our community. Everyone’s opinion is valued and so is everyone’s time. We pay fair wages, fully invest in a positive work- environment, and whole-heartedly contribute with our whole-ass.
Taking risks is scary and we want you to feel safe. Speak up, use your voice, give your opinion, and let us know you’re here. We cherish the amateur and value the critic. We want you to ask why, and we’re here for growth. We love sharing our knowledge, pulling back the curtain, and empowering our community to learn to use their hands. We crave that beginners mind and want you to help make us better. By holding workshops and community events, our goal is to foster an environment of education and sharing.
There’s plenty to go around — add another chair because everyone has something to bring to the table.
Whole Ass vs Half Ass. You know what we mean. If we’re going to bother, we’re going to bother. We’re going to show up and see an idea through to the end. We whole-ass every part of our work – from the smallest detail through to the big picture, installation, clean-up, and everything in-between. Showing up in any way other than completely just isn’t part of who we are and we geek-out on working through details others would never think of. We believe in sourcing the best and doing our best. What can we say, every project is a passion project. #oops
We give it our all, blood sweat and tears. There’s no half-assing here.
At the end of the day (and start, too), we are real humans with flaws and quirks and we don’t hide the ugly. We know that life happens and that there’s beauty in all of it. We want to show up and do the good work with you, to make beauty, and to tell it like it is. You’re probably going to know a lot more about us than just our flowers, but we also want to know you as people. We’re approachable, open, straightforward, and incredibly honest. We have put in the long, hard, real hours to know we are exceptional at what we do and to also know we don’t have to hide what we aren’t (or what we don’t know). We aren’t edited and we sure aren’t photoshopped. We’re real and we’re really here for you.
We aren’t edited and we sure aren’t photoshopped; we’re real and we’re really here for you.
Sustainable in everything we do - in relationships, self-care, and use of the planet. It goes beyond just eco-friendly environmentalism. To us sustainability means longevity and big picture thinking in everything we do. In flowers we strive for seasonal, locally sourced, and foam-free creations. We strive to use non-toxic, eco-friendly, plastic-free, and recycled. How we treat people matters. We are investing in relationships not transactions. We aim to build long-term relationships with clients and vendors. It also means sustainability in how we treat ourselves. Living well and a long healthy life means we invest in self-care, recover days, building community, and time off.
