What's the difference between your full service Lavenders Studio and Gathered by Lavenders?

The biggest difference comes down to customization of the details and the labor required to produce your event.

Gathered is our semi-custom design offering when bespoke isn’t for you. We designed Gathered exactly after Lavenders, but cut out the extra cost of labor, custom creative, and a few extras to give you the most diverse, thoughtful and well-rounded design sets possible. With a designers choice focused seasonal a la carte menu, we’re giving you streamlined botanical beauty.

Lavenders Studio takes your biggest, most off-the-wall, wild dreams and we make them happen. We specialize in bespoke high-end events, custom floral design that’s unique, one-of-a-kind, and completely embodies you. It’s our goal to capture your big ideas and put them into florals your friends, family, and everyone you invite will not only enjoy but talk about forever.

Can I call and email you with questions anytime?

In short, yes, we are here for you. We have done our best to answer all your questions right here in the FAQ, but we do ask that you pretty please read through our FAQ page before reaching out to us. Bonus, when you place your Gathered order you get to schedule a 30-minute Clarity Call to go over your details and ask us any of your questions and burning desires! You will also be receiving a series of emails to keep you updated along the way.

Can we rent candles through you?

Our Gathered clients have the option to buy pre-filled candles by the box, these are our favorite simple and sweet votive options that look great on reception tables.

Can I meet with you in person or via Zoom?

You get a 30-minute Clatiry Call after placing your order and filling out the Vision Form. This meeting is in place to answer your questions and clarify your vision and order.

In-person design meetings are not included with our Gathered a la carte orders, however, we do offer one hour in-person consultations for $200. This meeting is good for the client that wants additional design direction and peace of mind. To schedule an in-person design meeting, email us at hello@lavendersfloral.com and we will send you a link to book an appointment.

Does my order include Tono & Co. hand dyed silk ribbon?

Yes! All Gathered orders include our sister company, Tono + co, hand-dyed silk ribbon. You get to choose the color you like best or you can leave it up to our team to pick what color goes best with the collection you chose using our expert design eyes.

Can I bring my own vases to be used for arrangements?

Not all vessels are created equal as both size, quality, and shape will all affect the arrangements. We don’t allow you to provide your own vessels, however, we do offer several options for you to choose from.

Do I get to choose the specific style of vase used for my arrangements?

The vases we are offering are some of our favorites. We selected vase colors we believe fit every style, whether boho, classic or something in between, we got you covered. We will choose the best vase that fits your style, and we will confirm during your Clarity Call.

Can I choose the flowers for my bouquet and flower arrangements?

You love and trust us because we are awesome at what we do. Our floral designs are exceptional and we have spent over 10 years perfecting the style you have grown to love. In short, let us do what we do best. We select the best product to work with for your event. We proudly work with local flower farmers that grow the best seasonal flowers we know will look awesome during the time of your wedding. With seasonal floral selection at the heart of what we do, we can’t guarantee any specific flower varieties in your arrangements. Don’t let that worry you, what we can promise is that we will work with the color palette and texture to create beautiful arrangements you’ll love!

Can I customize my colors?

Of course! We are happy to create a semi-custom design that fits your style. We will confirm the color and mood board with your Vision Form that you fill out.

Do you rent ceremony arches?

In short, yes! But we have limited options you can rent from and will require a strike fee for us to come back after your event to collect our arch. If you are interested in renting one of our arches, please email hello@lavendersfloral.com to view some of our options.

For specialty arches, we recommend sourcing from rental companies from our Friendor list.

Do you rent fabric for draping a ceremony arch?

No, but we can recommend some Friendors that rent fabric.

Can we repurpose ceremony florals to reception as part of the a la carte service?

We LOVE the idea of repurposing ceremony florals to other areas of your wedding to make the most bank for your buck, however, we don’t offer a “flip” service that’s included in your order. If you’re interested in adding this service, please mention it in your Clarity Call and/or email hello@lavendersfloral.com to add this service on.

Do you do custom installations for Gathered orders?

To keep our Gathered a la carte service budget friendly, we don’t offer installations, however, if you’re interested in a custom installation piece to be added to your Gathered order bring it up diring your clarity call and/or please email hello@lavendersfloral.com.

I really want pampas grass in my floral arrangements, can you include that in my a la carte order?

As much as we love pampas grass, they are costly! We can only offer them as a rental item for installation pieces that have a strike service included.

Do you rent lanterns?

No, but some of our friendors do! Here is our Friendor List for more details.

Do you deliver?

Yes we deliver, the location of the drop off will determine the delivery cost we charge, you add delivery to your Gathered order.

Can you ship my arrangements within the US?

As much as we would love to send flowers your way, they just don’t hold up in the shipping process. All orders must be picked up from our studio location in Santa Ana or we would be happy to deliver in the SoCal area.

Can you deliver personal flowers to my house and the rest of the flowers to the venue?

Yes, unique delivery requests can be made by contacting our team at hello@lavendersfloral.com.

Can I add more items to my order after I have placed it? A lot more guests rsvp’d than we expected!

Did someone say more? Whether it's more guests or more areas needing some flower love, we are happy to add more to your order. After all, more is more! Just be sure to let us know at least 2 weeks prior to your event date, this gives us some time to source more vases if need be.

Can I pay for my order in cash or check?

Yes, we accept money orders, cashier checks, and cash, plus all cards.

Can I remove items from my order? I got a little carried away with all the beautiful arrangements and realized I ordered way too much!

We totally understand the feeling, flowers tend to have that effect on us as well. Please get in touch with us at hello@lavendersflowers.com and one of our team members will assist you. Reminder: All a la carte orders require a minimum of $600.

Can I just order one bouquet for my courthouse wedding?

We’ll try! Since we are not a flower shop, we don’t always have flowers on hand to create on the fly, but feel free to reach out and you may get lucky! Please contact hello@lavendersfloral.com asap to see if we are able to accommodate your special order.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes! As long as it’s 30 calendar days before your event date. In the event you cancel your order, a 75% refund will be issued in the means by which you paid. We retain a 25% non-refundable deposit for all Gathered orders.

Can I cancel my order within the 30 days?

Unfortunately, no refunds are available within 30 days of the event as our team has already spent time planning and ordering the flowers for your event.

Yikes, I just don’t think I can spend that right now! Isn’t there a bigger payment plan??
