Finishing Touches
Let’s confirm your day
We’re almost there!
Before our Finishing Touches call, take a few minutes to share your timeline and day-of details. That way our call is a quick, easy review, and I can plan every minute of your flowers around your day.

Your wedding
I filled in what you’ve already shared with me. Take a quick look and update anything that’s changed.
How are your flowers getting to your wedding? *
Street, city and ZIP, so we arrive at the right spot
Name, phone and email, if you have one
Your day-of contact *
The one person I can call or text on your wedding day, so you don’t have to answer your phone. A planner, a parent or a trusted friend is perfect.

Your timeline
Your timeline tells me when your flowers need to be ready and how much time we have to set up. Rough times are completely fine.
The time printed on your invitation
When the first guests usually show up
When the last dance ends
Is your timeline final?
A Google Doc, your planner’s link or a PDF link all work. You can also email it to me.

Getting your flowers there
Choose how your flowers are getting to your wedding on step 1, and the right questions will show up here.
Pickup at my studio
1414 Ritchey St, Unit C, Santa Ana. Bring a clean car with a flat space and a tarp or blanket laid down, and treat your flowers like a new puppy: gentle turns, air conditioning on, and straight into the shade when you arrive.
We’ll set your one-hour pickup window together on our call
What are they driving?
Vendor load-in window
The time your venue lets vendors in, and when everything needs to be finished.
Your timeline decides how much time we need on site. If the window is shorter, or later, than the setup on your invoice, I’ll let you know on our call so we can adjust together.
When tables and linens arrive, if you know
Name and phone
Where should we drop off your personal flowers?
Bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages, usually wherever you’re getting ready.
Street, city, and the suite, room or unit number
Name and phone
Where can we park and unload?
A loading zone, back entrance or the closest lot
Any stairs or elevators on the way in?
How far from the van to where the flowers go?

A note on weather
A few days before our call, I’ll check the forecast for your wedding. If it’s looking hot, windy or rainy, we’ll talk through a plan together. Flowers are living things, and while I can’t promise the weather, we’re experts and we’ll do our very best to keep them looking beautiful.
Candles
Does your venue allow open flames, or need a fire permit?
Clean up at the end of the night
When can we start collecting candles and rentals, and when does your venue need everything out?
Is there trash and green waste disposal on site?
Who clears the tables before we collect candles and vases?

Your rentals
Here’s everything you’re borrowing from my Private Collection, like candles, vessels and stands. Take a quick look, then sign your rental agreement below.
On your order
List what’s on your order, like “24 votives, 12 bud vases, 2 pedestals.” Not sure? Write what you remember and I’ll match it to your invoice.
Rental agreement
The items listed on your order are on loan from the Lavenders Flowers Private Collection and remain the property of Lavenders Flowers.
Checking your rentals. Please look everything over when you pick up your order or when we deliver it. Anything not noted at that time is considered received in good condition.
Returning your rentals. If clean up is part of your order, our team collects everything at the end of the night. If it isn’t, please return every item to our studio at 1414 Ritchey St, Unit C, Santa Ana, within 7 business days. Just text or email me to set a drop-off time.
Lost or damaged items. Any item that is lost, broken or not returned will be charged to the card on file.
Candles. Candles are lit by you, your planner or venue staff, since our team doesn’t stay through the evening. Please follow your venue’s rules for open flames.

Final counts and last details
All changes are final before your last payment, 30 days before your wedding, so this is the perfect time to fine-tune.
Any changes to your guest count, tables or personal flowers?
Like “now 14 tables instead of 12” or “two more boutonnieres”
Would you like to add anything from the Private Collection?
Your bouquet ribbon
Let’s make sure your Tono + Co silk ribbon is just right for your bouquets.
Color, sheer or opaque, and tails or a wrapped handle. Browse the colors at tonoandco.com.
Questions, worries, little details. Nothing is too small.
Thank you
